I have summarized the Reddit Post for those that want a short version. Considering this encompasses 95% of the playerbase of every game it doesn't surprise me people like you exist. With Episode 2 coming out, the Epic Fiesta event gave us a lot of new information regarding Episode 2 and what we will be getting. Until then, if anyone 'literally' doesn't believe me then they know nothing about gacha games or any game that utilizes unit statistics. But the argument that a %-based number is always better is 100% false. You can, however, say that unit priority stats are affected better MOST of the time by a %-based value and you'd be correct. This is not a debate you can engage in or win. Static number increases the stat to 100 while the %-based number raises it to 96. Test B: Same scenario, only this time first item has base stat of 80. Static number of 20 raises that stat to 220. Therefore, no argument can be given about favoring anything. I'm using equal numbers here even though the %-based values are never as high as the static numbers in 'top rolled gears'. Test A: You have a piece of equipment that gives it a flat bonus of 20 and another piece that gives it a % bonus of 20. Pick the highest base stat for test A and the lowest base stat for test B. Pick ANY unit you want, doesn't matter which one it is. Happy adventures.Įvery unit in every game. ![]() I will post more tips as I find something beneficial for everyone. You will definitely notice the difference, and you won't have any problem in the mid game. ![]() ![]() Your Attack increase from 5% bonus, to 25% bonus is a huge jump. Maxing your weapon sometimes just won't do the trick. Number based boots just can't be used in mid-game, period. Use all the number based stat-increase as upgrading materials, and don't hesitate to do this even they're heroics or have extremely rare sub stats. It is the very basics of gear farming, getting all the percentage based boots (with nice sub stats) on your allies first. For instance, my boots for my dealer alone does 25% attack increase plus 4% critical chance. After upgrading your Artisan's Furnace to 3/3, consider farming for some materials if your allies' aren't equipped with percentage based boots. The most important equipment (to craft) in Epic Seven are boots. Will talk about crafting and gearing up allies in the following paragraph. And you will notice that the use of Steel Workshop is the most important as you face mid-game content in Epic Seven. Most of the buildings don't seem to provide much bonus when using BoO, but Artisan's Furnace in Steel Workshop. ![]()
